Sumba Sherpa, the youngest member of the Sherpa family, is the Co-founder and General Secretary of the Mountain Sherpa Foundation. He was born in Mapya Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality, Wada No. 4, in the Solukhumbu district of Nepal, a region renowned for mountain tourism. Solukhumbu District is home to the world-famous Mount Everest (8,848m), which is the main attraction in the area. Additionally, the Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is located here. With 99 named mountains, including the highest and most prominent one, Mount Everest, Solukhumbu offers breathtaking natural beauty.
