Solukhumbu – More than 500 people have benefited from the free health camp held in Mapyadudhkoshi Rural Municipality 3 Khastap of Solukhumbu. 560 citizens have benefited from the three-day camp organized by Mountion Sherpa Foundation today ( started from 28 November- 30 November 2022).
Pasang Sherpa Pinasa, president of the organizing Mountion Sherpa Foundation informed that 150 women received gynecological services in the camp that was held from last Monday from 28 November to 30 November 2022 at the Primary Hospital Khastap with the help of the Sherpa Support Foundation America and the municipality.
According to him, 203 people received dental services, 57 people received hard joint and drug related services and the rest received general medical services.
According to the organizers, necessary medicines were also distributed free of charge in the healthcare provided by a team of 7 doctors including specialists brought from Kathmandu.
President Sherpa said that health camps of the same nature, which have been started targeting the health care services of rural citizens, will also be conducted in other municipalities of the district.
